About Dr Rod Ashton BDSc (Hons) Qld

dr ashton new About UsDr Rod Ashton is the principal dentist of Ashton Dental Cairns and has been proudly caring for the dental needs of Cairns families since 1986.

Since graduating from the University of Queensland, Dr Ashton has kept up to date with the latest technology in the ever-changing dental industry.

His special interests include implants, reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Ashton has also been involved with teaching and training at the James Cook University dental school

Dr Ashton’s philosophy is to practice dentistry in a personalised and comfortable environment. He endeavours to provide quality dental care, restore aesthetics and function and maintain optimal oral health.

 

About Dr Linda Trang BDS Adel

linda About UsLinda has been caring for patients in Cairns since 2010 after moving from her hometown Adelaide.  She is a very enthusiastic young dentist who is passionate about providing optimal treatment and care for her patients.

Dr Trang is very good with helping people who feel nervous about visiting the dentist.  She is highly trained in all areas of dentistry and regularly attends continuing education courses, ensuring patients receive the most comprehensive dental care.

Outside of her clinical role, Linda loves to go kitesurfing at the northern beaches. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and follows the AFL.

 

About Stephanie Wallace BOH Qld

stephanie About UsStephanie is a strong believer in preventative dentistry and focuses on early intervention, prevention and education.  She loves her role as an Oral Health Therapist and believes she can create a comfortable environment and educate her patients to understand the importance of good oral health at any age.

Stephanie’s role as a dental hygienist is to teach correct techniques for optimum dental care and provide preventative dental treatment such as thorough cleaning of the teeth and gums.  As a highly skilled dental therapist,  Stephanie also preforms routine dentistry for children and teenagers between the ages of 4 and 17 (i.e. fillings and extractions of baby teeth).

Since completing her Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland,  Stephanie has been proactive within the dental hygiene profession through her involvement with the Dental Hygienist’s Association of Queensland.  Stephanie enjoys keeping active, traveling and music.
